| 04/21/2022 | MINUTE entry before the Honorable Steven C. Seeger: On April 8, 2022, while the motion for default judgment was pending, Plaintiff filed a notice of voluntary dismissal. (Dckt. No. [40]) But Plaintiff's counsel neglected to submit an updated draft of the judgment and the permanent injunction order to this Court's proposed order inbox. Plaintiff last did so on March 28, 2022. Plaintiff counsel's oversight required this Court to choose between reminding counsel and then waiting, or doing clerical work for Plaintiff's counsel to just get it done. This Court chose the latter. This time, anyway. This Court reminds Plaintiff's counsel of the need to maintain up-to-date proposed orders with the Court. Given the volume of cases filed by Plaintiff's counsel, they must do whatever they can to lessen the burdens on the Court. Going forward, a failure by Plaintiff's counsel to comply may lead to appropriate relief, including monetary penalties on all counsel of record. Mailed notice. |
